The Cultural Arts Council sponsors an outdoor summer music series and other concerts such as the Veteran's Day Concert, art shows and competitions, a children's theater program, provides grants to teachers to enhance arts exposure in the schools, sponsors North Augusta Idol, and co-sponsors the Yellow Jasmine Festival. The North Augusta Artists Guild, an additional arts group, is an outgrowth of the Cultural Arts Council. For more information visit us at www.NAArtsCouncil.org

The Arts and Heritage Center will support many of the activities of both groups and other groups with similar interests and activities. To clearly define management and financial responsibilities, The Arts and Heritage Center has been established as a separate 501c3 non-profit group with its own Board of Directors. The Board consists of three representatives each from the Heritage and Cultural Arts Councils, a representative from the Artists Guild, and 18 other individuals from the community.

On the first floor, The Arts and Heritage Center will have two large rooms for exhibits and displays, a reception area, storage facilities, a gift shop, a meeting room, and an office. The second floor has a balcony display or observation area.
