He also worked as an archaeological illustrator on Cherokee Indian sites in north Georgia for the University of Georgia. Henry retired in 2006 after a 30 year career as an internationally awarded illustrator for the Department of the Army. While detailed illustrations are his passion, Henry is also an accomplished musician. His bands Doug and the Henrys and The Henry Wynn String Trio perform regularly for weddings and special events.
Founded in 2019, The Ridge Clay Arts is a community of artists and students working side-by-side in a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth. They believe everyone has an artist inside them, looking to express himself and they want to help you find your artistic voice. Each of their potters is experienced in the studio and the classroom, meaning you get no only the teachers with great art technique, but also great teaching technique too.
