18 KY Vermiel - Davie Pave Studs by Kendra Scott
Decorative Wrought Iron Baluster
The piece is from the exterior of the carriage house at the rear of the Palmetto Lodge. The lodge was renamed Seven Gables by author Edison Marshall, and the carriage house, which had housed carriages and later cars servicing the Hampton Terrace, became a caretakers cottage last occupied by Augusta poet and writer Starkey Flythe.
Piece of the Old Trolley Rail
Section of rail from the original interurban electric railway that ran from Augusta to Aiken from December of 1902 until it was discontinued in 1929. A spur of the track delivered passengers to a small pavilion at the Hampton Terrace Hotel where guests of the hotel disembarked.
