Gift Shop

Our tax-free Gift Shop is full of wonderfully-crafted art from artists in the Central Savannah River Area. Exciting one of a kind gifts arrive regularly and we don’t want you to miss a thing!  And don’t forget, your purchase promotes the arts and history in North Augusta as well.  You can find a variety of items from pottery, to chocolates, to photography, to paintings and jewelry. If you can imagine it, chances are there is a local crafts person who has created it.

Items in the gift shop include history books such as “In Their Own Words Augusta and Aiken Area Veterans Remember World War II” by James Garvey, et.al., “The Coming of Southern Prohibition” by Michael Lewis, “North Augusta James U. Jackson’s Dream” by Jeanne M. McDaniel, as well as other books that cover the history of North Augusta, Aiken County and many baseball legends. We also have a book on the history of Hamburg, SC.  For those who like road trips and southern history, we have “Classic Carolina Road Trips from Columbia” by Tom Poland and “Circling the Savannah” by Dr. Tom Mack.

We also carry North Augusta postcards.  We have several of the old Hampton Terrace Hotel as well as buildings and scenes from North Augusta by local photographers.

The gift shop of the Arts and Heritage Center is open from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.
